The album was born from the need of evolving my musical language after composing music based on the radical processing of sound material recorded, but not directly created, by me (field recordings and various acoustic sounds). The first step started where the previous research ended, so by applying this technique to musical material from my archive, something very personal belonging to different stages of my life. This led me to reflect on how we attribute meanings and perceive sense both for present and past, and how an archive material that is only apparently static can be expanded in endless completely different ways, creating a sense of infinity. In a world where many tend to create "borders" to contain people that share supposed homogeneous features, music reminds us that diversity is the soul of humanity.
